“A village was the target of an attack… It is clear that civilians were injured,” the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, wrote on Telegram, the news agency reported. AFPTuesday (26/4/2022).
He added that a man injured his hand and a woman suffered neck injuries in the incident in the village of Zhuravlyovka on Monday (25/4) local time.
“Ambulances have arrived at the scene. There are houses partially destroyed,” he added.
Russia in recent weeks accusing the team Ukraine struck a number of targets on Russian territory, including two villages in Belgorod and another in the Bryansk region this April.
Also on Monday (25/4), the governor of the Kursk region near Ukraine said Russian forces had shot down two Ukrainian drones in the early hours of the morning.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has been going on since February 24. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned Western countries not to underestimate the increased risk of nuclear war over Ukraine. Lavrov also said that the danger of nuclear war was serious and real.
