The peace talks in Saudi Arabia on Saturday helped strengthen Ukraine’s position, says the head of Ukraine’s presidential office.
Although there are differences of opinion among the countries that participated in the summit, all of them committed to respect the UN Charter, international law and the principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Jermak said on Sunday.

Yermak was head of Ukraine’s delegation at the peace conference in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, which ended at around 8pm Norwegian time on Saturday.
However, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergej Ryanbkov claims that Ukraine’s efforts at the summit have been in vain.
– It is a reflection of the West’s attempt to continue efforts that are useless and doomed to fail, says Deputy Foreign Minister Ryanbkov.
Ukraine had initiated the peace forum in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia in the hope of winning greater international support in the war against Russia. Norway was among the more than 40 countries that participated, together with the USA, China, Brazil, India, Poland, Denmark and Sweden, among others.
