Ukrainian media reports that it is now being actively used in attacks on Russian warships in the Black Sea. Representatives of the donation campaign “UNITED24” said that thanks to its power, it is the “fastest object in the Black Sea”.
The drone is also equipped with a CCTV camera and is bulletproof, making it difficult to shoot down.
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, the Ukrainian army has been actively attacking Russian warships in the Black Sea. The attacks have mostly been crowned with success – British Defense Minister Grant Shaps has admitted that 20% of the Russian Black Sea Fleet has been destroyed in the last four months.
The minister praised the attack of the Ukrainian army on the port of Feodosia in the occupied Crimea on Tuesday night, in which the large amphibious ship “Novocherkassk” was destroyed.
“The latest destruction of Putin’s naval forces shows that those who believe that there is a stalemate in the war in Ukraine are mistaken,” the minister said.
“They haven’t noticed that 20% of Russia’s Black Sea fleet has been destroyed in the last four months,” Shaps said.
“Russia’s dominant role in the Black Sea is now being challenged, and the new UK-Norway-led Naval Power Coalition will help ensure that Ukraine wins at sea,” the minister added.
