Ukraine’s National Security Council Secretary Announces New Initiatives for Mobilization

New initiatives on the issue of mobilization in Ukraine are expected in the near future. The relevant proposals will be considered at the next meeting of the Staff, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDO) Oleksiy Danilov announced to the BBC.

“Now we are launching a new program; we have already discussed this issue several times at staff meetings. I think that in the near future there will be new initiatives, including legislative ones, on this issue,” stressed Danilov, quoted by Focus.

“This includes attracting recruitment companies and many other things. Now I would not like to give a final answer, because I emphasize once again – the process is ongoing. The only thing that can be said is that at the next meeting of the Stavka the president gave instructions for this issue to be finally prepared,” noted Danilov.

Commenting on the question of whether Ukraine will have enough people to continue fighting, the Secretary of the National Security Council clarified that a war will always lack three things. “Time, weapons and people,” he explained.
