The Ministry of Health of Ukraine is considering the possibility of lifting quarantine restrictions that were introduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Health Viktor Lyashko during a conversation with reporters, an RBC-Ukraine correspondent reports.
According to him, the authorities have already begun to revise the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, according to which quarantine is in force in Ukraine. And soon preparations will begin for the abolition of this decree, since it entails both anti-epidemic restrictions and other actions related to business entities during quarantine. But it cannot be canceled immediately due to economic factors.
“We are considering canceling all this. However, we need to prepare for this. Now we will assess the state of readiness to lift all quarantine restrictions. Therefore, we are now conducting an internal audit and potentially preparing to come out with an official position and say that quarantine will be lifted from such- numbers,” the minister said.
