Ukraine may lose the war against Russia if the United States and European Union countries stop supporting Kyiv, according to cnn.com.
According to the publication, US and European officials have hinted at what would happen if they stopped providing military support to Kyiv.
“Success is not guaranteed with us, but certainly not without us,” said a senior US military official. One of the European diplomats commented on CNN that Ukraine is trying to regain the lost territories of the country, “and it is difficult to imagine how this could be achieved without the support of the United States.”
The Western official is also concerned that if the US stops supporting Ukraine or the support is delayed, it may affect the future attitude of other countries’ allies towards providing support to Ukraine.
It should be noted that Hungary still does not agree that Europe will provide Ukraine with further military aid, so there are fears that if the US does not support Kyiv, other EU countries may follow suit.
“Now the Western intelligence services are calculating how long Ukraine can withstand the Russian military attack without the support of the United States and NATO. Cnn.com also writes that the armed forces in Kyiv are already saving ammunition, but Russian forces are attacking five to seven times more powerfully than Ukrainian soldiers.
