Ukraine’s Drone Attack on Moscow and Crimea: Latest Updates and Impact

It’s no fun! Russia and Ukraine still fighting and the war must stop for the sake of humanity. The latest development, the two countries are attacking each other using drone aka drones.

Ukraine has always been invaded by Russia. Reported by Reuters, Ukraine then launched a drone strike on the Russian capital, Moscow, on Monday (24/7) local time.

During Monday’s attack, there were no injuries. Moscow said the Ukrainian drone strike was thwarted. However, there is a drone down near the Russian Defense Ministry. In that building, Russia was having a meeting about ‘special military operations’.

The first attack practically failed. In the second attack, Ukrainian drones damaged an office building in Moscow. Windows on the top two floors of the building were smashed, strewn debris. Another drone, which is a helicopter type, fell in the cemetery area. The drone did not carry explosives.

Overall, the Ukrainian drone strike resulted in no casualties. The damage caused wasn’t that bad either.

Ukraine also launched an attack using 17 drones on Crimea. Crimea was originally part of Ukraine but was annexed by Russia in 2014. The Ukrainian drone attack failed thanks to the Russian defense system.
