The average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine as of the morning of May 31 increased by 5 kopecks to 37.60 hryvnias on sale. The euro rose by 5 kopecks to 40.65 hryvnia per euro. At the same time, in exchange offices they buy the dollar at an average of 37.10 hryvnia, the euro at 39.99 hryvnia.
The official fixed dollar exchange rate of the NBU has not changed since July 21 last year and is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. At the same time, the official exchange rate of the euro as of May 31 is 39.2802 hryvnia per euro (+0.1043 hryvnia).
Course per month
The dollar exchange rate for the month fell by another 40 kopecks. At the end of April, it was 38 hryvnia per dollar. The euro fell more significantly – by 1 hryvnia 15 kopecks. The depreciation of the euro is associated with situations in the world market. The dollar index against major currencies increased by 2.5% over the month.
