As of the end of June, the state and state-guaranteed debt of Ukraine amounted to UAH 2,514.36 billion. In dollar terms, the debt reached $ 92.52 billion. This was announced on Tuesday, July 27, according to the press service of the Ministry of Finance.
It is noted that during June 2021, the amount decreased in hryvnia equivalent by 2.36 billion hryvnia, and in dollar terms, the debt increased by 1.0 billion dollars.
As of June 30, external debt amounted to UAH 1,476.69 billion (58.74% of the total debt) or $ 54.34 billion, internal debt – UAH 1,037.67 billion (41.27%) or 38.18 billion dollars.
Ukraine’s public debt amounted to UAH 2,224.82 billion (88.48% of the total debt) or $ 81.87 billion. Ukraine’s state-guaranteed debt amounted to UAH 289.54 billion (11.52%) or $ 10.65 billion.
Recall that recently, the hryvnia has been constantly strengthening against the dollar and the euro, and today updated the maximum in a year.
Earlier it was reported that due to the pandemic, the national debt in the eurozone exceeded 100% of GDP for the first time.
