Slovakia signed a declaration recognizing Ukraine’s European perspective. The document was signed during a meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and President of Slovakia Zuzana Chaputova.

“Slovakia has become another EU state with which a declaration recognizing Ukraine’s European perspective has been signed. We discussed support for Ukraine’s membership in the EU and NATO with Chaputova,” Zelensky said.
The leaders of the states also spoke about cooperation in the energy sector and about the security situation in Donbass.
The meeting of the presidents of Ukraine and Slovakia took place on the sidelines of the environmental summit in Glasgow.
