MOSCOW, KOMPAS.com – Russian President Vladimir Putin says Ukraine will be withdrawing from peace talks with Moscow at the behest of the United States (USA), the Kremlin said Thursday (10/27/2022).
“The text was ready … And then suddenly the Ukrainian side disappeared from the radar, the Ukrainian side expressed its reluctance to continue the negotiations,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters. AFP.
He added that according to Putin it was clear that the decision to withdraw Russia-Ukraine peace negotiations took place on Washington’s orders.

On Wednesday (10/26/2022), Umaro Sissoco Embalo of Guinea-Bissau, head of the current ECOWAS West African bloc, told Kiev that Putin, who had visited previously, said he was ready to negotiate with the president. Ukrainian Volodymyr Zelensky.
When asked about this statement, Peskov replied: “We are ready to ensure that our interests are at the negotiating table.”
“We want it, but in this case it is a complete reluctance on the part of Ukraine,” he said, adding that there was no specific message for Kiev.
