The first warship for Ukraine will be built in Great Britain, and then the technology will be transferred to Ukrainian shipyards.
Ukraine will receive missiles and warships from the UK. This was announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK Vadim Prystaiko in an interview with the TV channel House.
According to him, four directions will be implemented that will strengthen the ability of the Ukrainian navy.
“I am convinced that in the near future two existing ships will be purchased, they will immediately go to the Navy, work will begin on the construction of two naval ports, and the construction of smaller ships in Ukraine and Great Britain will begin,” the ambassador said.
Prystaiko noted that the first warship for Ukraine will be built in Great Britain, and then the technologies will be transferred to Ukrainian shipyards. The first ships that the British will hand over to Ukraine are minesweepers that will help protect the coast from the mine threat.
