“During an operation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the headquarters of the Russian private military company Wagner was destroyed in the eastern city of Soledar,” wrote the newspaper “Ukrainskaya Pravda”.
“Thanks to received intelligence, a command post and a warehouse for weapons and ammunition used by the mercenary criminal group were discovered,” the media added.
“The headquarters and the arsenal were destroyed with a precise artillery strike,” the publication added.
“The operation was carried out by fighters of the 45th separate artillery brigade – a unit of the Missile Forces – and an artillery unit of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the newspaper added.
