– There are some positive changes in the conversations. That is the feedback I get from our negotiators, Putin told his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko during a televised meeting in Moscow.

“The negotiations are now being held almost on a daily basis,” Putin added.
The two presidents met on Friday to discuss developments in Ukraine. Belarus has sided with Russia since the outbreak of war on February 24.
Russian and Ukrainian delegations have met three times in Belarus in an attempt to resolve the conflict. When Russia and Ukraine’s foreign ministers met in Turkey on Thursday, no ceasefire agreement was reached, but they agreed that talks in Belarus should continue.
