The youth teams of Ukraine (U21) did not manage to obtain a positive result in the first match of the qualifying playoffs for Euro 2023. In the duel against Slovak peers, Ruslan Rotan’s wards have always had the role of recovering and equalizing twice the score. However, the Italian double striker “Spice” David Strelts allowed the Slovaks to win – 3: 2.
The second leg will be held on 27 September in the Polish city of Bielsko-Biala.
