An electronic account for the military could start working in Ukraine in mid-summer.
The electronic account for the military will work in Ukraine two months after the adoption of the mobilization law No. 10449 – approximately at the beginning of the second quarter of this year. It will be possible, in particular, to obtain a “Certificate of Defender” – an extract from the “Oberig” register about a person liable for military service.
Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization Ekaterina Chernogorenko spoke about this for Forbes.
She noted that the specified term is short enough for such tools – “one could say instantaneous.”
The Deputy Minister also noted that an electronic document with a QR code, similar to a COVID certificate, will be uploaded in the office. In addition, functionality is being prepared in which the director of an enterprise will be able to request reservations for his employees.

In addition, in the office of the person liable for military service, it will be possible to update the data without visiting the territorial acquisition centers, so that they can be used by the TCC, which will free you from unnecessary bureaucracy, photocopies, etc.
“We won’t need to carry a bunch of documents. We will be able to receive this data in real time from other registries,” the official noted.
Let us remind you that the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky condemned the TCC’s “hunt” for military servicemen on the street and said that today there are every opportunity to modernize the mobilization processes. Meanwhile, in January 2024, the Rada adopted a bill on the digitalization of the army, which provides for the creation of a unified electronic register of those liable for military service. A draft on changes in mobilization is also being finalized.
