Ukraine: Russian blows in two provinces – alarm for air raids –

Ukrainian authorities spoke this morning about Russian blows in two provinces in eastern Ukraine after issuing warnings of air strikes across the country.

Oleh Cinehubov, the ruler of Harcovo near the border with Russia, said there were “hostile blows” in two areas, and clarified that it was not known if there were victims.

In the province of Poltava, in Central Ukraine, an unknown attack has caused damage to “energy infrastructure”, leaving 164 households without electricity, the local military administration said. According to the same source, there are no casualties.

Shortly before 07:00 (local time and time in Greece) a warning was issued for air attacks, which concerned the whole of Ukraine.

In her Telegram account, the Ukrainian Air Force stressed that there was a risk of “missiles in all areas for which warning was issued”.

In particular, he explained that there is a risk of rocket attack in Mikolaif and Hersona provinces, while drones fly over many provinces of northeast Ukraine. At the same time he referred to a “threat of ballistic weapons coming from the northeast”.

Meanwhile, seven people were injured in a Russian rocket blow at the historic Odessa Center in southern Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski spoke of attacking ballistic missiles. “Among the people who were at the center of the blow were Norwegian diplomats,” he said without specifying whether they were among the injured.
