Zelensky: “For now I don’t intend to negotiate with Moscow”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he is not ready to negotiate with Russia at the moment. “At the moment no, I don’t see any desire on their part”, he replied to Fareed Zakaria who in an interview broadcast for CNN asked him if he was willing to resume negotiations.
“I don’t talk to those who issue ultimatums, it’s my principle,” explained the Kiev leader.
Yesterday, Moscow’s foreign minister, Serghei Lavrov, declared that Russia does not reject negotiations with Ukraine but Kiev, by delaying them, complicates the possibility of reaching an agreement.
