Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj said in a speech on Monday that he wants immediate EU membership for his home country.
– Our goal is to stand together with all Europeans, and most importantly, to be equal. I mean it’s reasonable. “I think we deserve it,” Zelensky said.
At 16:56, the official Twitter account of the Ukrainian parliament posted a picture of the country’s EU application being signed by the president.

EU Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen said on Sunday that “they are one of us, and we want them in” when she received a question about the case from a journalist.
