In the wake of the war, Germany has decided to strengthen its defense budget sharply. At a meeting on Wednesday, Prime Minister Olaf Scholz and Chief of Defense Eberhard Zorn discussed how an extra allocation of 100 billion euros in the short term should be used in practice.
The missile defense system must have been among the alternatives discussed.
