Ukraine Reveals Foreign Components in Russian Missiles and Urges Global Sanctions to Combat Missile Terror

“If we take one of the missiles that hit Krivoy Rog, then about 50 components in it, mainly microelectronics, are produced in other countries,” the head of state said.

He added that a meeting of representatives of our state with diplomats of the respective countries was held today. They were given a list of companies that provide Russia with components for assassinations.

“There is this list. Everyone in the world also has an understanding of how Russian terrorists are trying to deceive the world. We are waiting for conclusions and quick actions that will stop missile terror,” Zelensky stressed.

According to the head of state, Ukraine has already imposed sanctions against all companies in Russia that produce missiles. Appropriate restrictions must be introduced at the global level, and every way around the sanctions must also be punishable at the global level.

The President emphasized that export control over critical elements should be strengthened as much as possible.

“If someone is acting as an intermediary or working together with Russia so that terrorists can continue to blow up houses and kill people, then such entities, business or the state deserve a response from the world … It is definitely cheaper to once and for all block the supply of components for terrorists for terror than to constantly spend more and more missiles for air defense,” Zelensky added.

Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak specified that the invaders hit Krivoy Rog with an X-101 missile, which was fired in Russia in April 2023.

“About 50 components in this rocket – mostly microelectronics – were produced in the countries of the free world and delivered to the Russian Federation in various ways,” Yermak added.

Foreign components in Russian weapons

Recall that Western countries have imposed a number of sanctions against Russia and its allies in order to limit the supply to the country of technologies that can be used in the production of weapons.

But, despite such restrictions, parts that were produced abroad continue to be found in Russian missiles or Shahed drones, which are transferred to the aggressor country by Iran.

In particular, the parts found in Iranian UAVs are produced by companies from Ukraine’s allied countries. This information was given by the Western media.
