The European Union has given 3 billion euros in aid to war-torn Ukraine. Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko revealed that Ukraine has received the first installment of the €18 billion financial aid package from the European Union, amounting to €3 billion. 3 billion euros is 3.26 billion dollars. The financial aid package was given to Ukraine with major concessions. Marchenko also thanked the EU partners for their support to ensure Ukraine’s financial stability, Marchenko wrote on Twitter. At least 40 people were killed in a Russian missile attack on a residential complex in Ukraine. Ukraine is preparing to deploy more weapons to the city of Disneypro, where the attack took place. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army has confirmed Russian attacks on 25 towns and villages around Bakhmut and Avdika.
