“Everything started from Crimea – this Russian revanchism, this Russian war. And it is there, in Crimea, that Russian evil must suffer a key defeat.” This was emphasized by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, in his evening video message, reports Ukrinform and Focus.
“Today is a special day in Ukraine. We all remember the events of 2014, when on the same day the occupation of Crimea took place and the future fate of international security and international relations was determined. Everything started from Crimea – this Russian revanchism, this Russian war. And it is there, in Crimea, that Russian evil must suffer a key defeat. We have already achieved significant results in the Black Sea. We are working to achieve the necessary results in the sky and on the ground in Crimea,” Zelensky said.
He thanked all partners for the help they provide to the country.
On the social network X, formerly Twitter, Zelensky said:
“Everything that Ukraine and its allies do now to defend themselves against Russian aggression strengthens the security of all our countries for decades to come. Because every Russian loss and defeat teaches Russia and every other adversary of Europe and the free world that aggression it does not pay and cannot pay. Cooperation and determination are the two answers we must all give to the question of an end to war and a path to peace.”
