The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, held a meeting with representatives of the government, the military and the military-industrial complex in the country, the main topic of which was the weapons against the intelligence drones of the Russians. Zelensky himself announced this in his profile on the social network Facebook.
According to Zelensky, the Russian forces are using the Orlan-10 and ZALA unmanned aerial vehicles as “eyes” for the artillery and strike drones.
“In Ukraine, there is a solution on how to “blind” them. A systematic approach must be introduced, from identification to the effective use of means of radio-electronic warfare and means of defeat,” Zelensky emphasizes.
The head of state of Ukraine explained that he had given instructions to create a comprehensive system that would connect the army and industry. This is necessary so that manufacturers can be aware of the needs of the front, and the army – of the production possibilities in all regions.
“The front needs a quick response to challenges and threats. We must do everything to protect the most important thing we have on the battlefield – the lives of our soldiers,” noted the President of Ukraine.
