Ukraine is scheduled to open nine humanitarian corridors on Thursday to allow civilians to leave battle-torn Ukrainian cities and supply them with food and medicine, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk said.

It is planned to send a tanker for refueling private cars from Mariupol to Zaporizhia.

The opening of humanitarian corridors is planned from Borodyanka in the Kiev region to Zhytomyr and from Shevchenko in the Kharkiv region to Brovary in the Kiev region.

Humanitarian aid – food and medicine – is planned to be delivered to the settlements of the Kiev region in Hostomel, Bucca, Semipolk and Opanasiv, as well as in the Chernivtsi region of Markivcos.

Also, a humanitarian corridor is planned from Kharkiv to Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region.

Four buses are expected to take food and medicine to Bucca and return with people waiting to be evacuated.
