The NSDC secretary highly appreciated the level of the Ukrainian army and assured that it can perform any task.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that the Ukrainian army is ready to liberate Donetsk and Lugansk, which are located in the part of Donbass temporarily not controlled by Ukraine. On Thursday, September 9, he announced this in the air talk show “Right to Government”.
At the same time, Danilov noted that the liberation of Donbass by force will lead to a large number of victims.
“Our army can fulfill any task. If today our supreme commander gives the command to take Donetsk and Lugansk, they can do it. But what to do with those tens and hundreds of thousands of people who may die? Who will be responsible?” he said.
Earlier, Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov said that Ukrainians with Russian passports after de-occupation will be able to leave the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, having left for the Russian Federation, however, Ukraine does not recognize their Russian documents.
