Ukraine investigates the origin of rocket attacks that hit Poland

Jakarta

A missile crashed in Poland near the border Ukraine and killed two people. Ukrainian experts have now arrived in Poland to investigate where the missiles came from.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on Friday (11/18/2022) that Ukrainian experts were already in Poland, reported AFP. He hopes experts can quickly gain access to cooperate with the Polish investigation.

“Our experts are already in Poland,” Dmytro Kuleba said on Twitter.

“We expect them to quickly gain access to the site in cooperation with Polish law enforcement agencies.”

It is understood that one missile hit the village of Przewodow in Poland near the border Ukraine Tuesday. This incident killed two people and raised fears of an escalation of the conflict.

“Ukraine and Poland will cooperate constructively and openly on the incident caused by the Russian missile terror against Ukraine,” Kuleba wrote.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Wednesday that the missile belonged to Russia. But Kiev said the blast was likely caused by a Ukrainian air defense missile launched to intercept the Russian attack.

Warsaw, Washington and NATO point out that Moscow is ultimately responsible for the invasion of Ukraine.

The Kremlin said it had “nothing to do with the incident”.
