Ukrainian companies intend to import from Belarus tens of times more electricity from Monday, November 8, than on Saturday. About it informs TASS news agency citing data from the European Network of Electricity Transmission System Operators (ENTSO-E).
“The deliveries will take place according to an even schedule – without interruptions, increase or decrease in capacity – from 00:00 to 23:00 on Monday, November 8. The application has been made for 400 MW, the day before it was 15 MW,” the message says.
Recall, November 6 Belarus started to supply to Ukraine electricity. The import volume was 5 MW per hour.
As reported power shortage has formed due to the mass shutdown of power units of state-owned thermal power plants due to the lack of coal reserves.
