The profiles of fallen Russian soldiers are searched on social networks using photographs of the bodies, and then relatives and friends are informed of their deaths.
The initiative aims to dispel the myth of the so-called “special military operation”, in which “compulsory soldiers do not take part” and “no one dies”, as the Kremlin’s propaganda puts it.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army reports that
More than 15,600 Russian soldiers have already died in Ukraine.
Russia has not provided any information on its losses recently.
Russia is not removing its fallen soldiers from the battlefield in Ukraine, which poses a huge ecological threat to Ukraine, warned Anatoly Kotlar, acting director of the Health Department in Ukraine.
CONTEXT:
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine continues since February 24. The talks have so far failed, and the French presidential administration announced on March 12 that Russian President Vladimir Putin now appears to be does not show any desire to end the war in Ukraine.
Russia’s action has paid off sharp condemnation from a democratic world. Western countries have determined several sanctions though against Russiathough against Belarussupporting the Kremlin’s decision to attack Ukraine. Meanwhile, more and more foreign companies are boycotting Russia and suspending their operations in that country.
