Ukraine has risen to 15th place in the ranking of the most powerful armies in the world

The Ukrainian army took 15 meters in the ranking of the most powerful armies in the world according to Global Fire Power (GFP), improving the result by 7 positions at once, compared to 2022. By the way reported on the organization’s website.

During the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the West began to actively help Ukraine with military equipment and means. This has increased the combat capability of the Ukrainian armed forces, analysts say.

“2023 will be a critical year in the direction of a bloody Russian-Ukrainian conflict as the impact of a protracted war against a larger neighboring power will eventually come to light,” the GFP said.

Now Ukraine is located between Egypt and Australia. The indicator of the Ukrainian army is 0.2516. The lower this figure, the better. The United States is in first place with 0.0712.

At the same time, it should be noted that the Russian Federation remains in 2nd place with an indicator of 0.0714. Despite the quantitative and material advantage over Ukraine, the Russian Federation shows a low level of army readiness, leadership training and supplies. Also, the authors did not take into account the losses of the RF Armed Forces during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Furthermore, Global Fire Power considers the equipment in storage and its technical condition is not taken into consideration. Thus, the Russian Federation ranks first in the world in the number of tanks – 12,566 units, and Ukraine – 13 – 1,890 vehicles.
