Ukraine has returned five patients from Belarus

At night, the border of Belarus and Ukraine was crossed by an ambulance car with Andrei Ivanov, who was in Minsk in connection with a kidney transplant operation.

The Ukrainian authorities returned from Belarus five people who were undergoing treatment in this country. This was announced by Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba on his page in Facebook Sunday, June 13th.

“We have already returned to Ukraine five patients who asked for help – and I am grateful for the cooperation of the Kharkiv, Rivne, Kiev and Cherkassy Regional State Administrations, as well as the people’s deputies of the Servant of the People faction,” Kuleba wrote.

The minister also said that a reanimobile with Andrei Ivanov, who was in Minsk in connection with a kidney transplant operation, crossed the border of Belarus and Ukraine tonight. The man was unable to return to his homeland after the introduction a ban on flights with Belarus.

According to Kuleba, another person who wants to return to Ukraine must decide exactly when this should happen.

Earlier it was reported that there are 26 Ukrainian citizens in Belaruswho receive medical care (organ transplant, bone marrow transplant, immunotherapy). Four more Ukrainians were examined.
