Ukraine War – News from August 10: Selenskyj admits military offensive for the first time

Nuclear authority warns of nuclear power plant accident in Russia – Ukraine takes over Gazprom plant

Ukraine apparently takes over Gazprom facility
Ukrainian soldiers are to Gazprom plant on Russian territory. The military released a video showing soldiers on the site of the facility. Control of the small town of Sudscha was also gained. Russia declares national emergency

Selenskyj said in a regular TV address on Thursday that Russia had brought war to Ukraine. Now it should “feel what it has done.” At an event, he made a further suggestion: “Everyone can see that the Ukrainian army knows how to surprise.”
