/Pogled.info/ The tactics of the armed forces of Ukraine, which turned out to be heavy losses for the enemy, seem to be being revised. Military experts predict even more fierce fighting this week with thousands of Ukrainian reservists. According to some data, the enemy is withdrawing 200 thousand people and a “tank fist” to the line of contact in Zaporozhye, writes Moscow Komsomolets.
Experts do not rule out that the enemy will expand the front and decide to cross the Dnieper to divert the attention of our troops and occupy the left bank.
Military expert, former special forces officer, retired colonel Anatoly Matviychuk told MK why Ukraine’s armed forces don’t stand a chance in Zaporozhye and Kherson Oblast, despite huge reserves and help from the West.
The “hottest” situation is in the Zaporizhia area. Fierce tug-of-war battles continue on the Time Ledge. The enemy occupied the settlements, but soon returned to their positions again under the fire of our artillery and under the blows of our assault groups.
So, the settlement of Makarovka only on Monday passed from hand to hand three times. On Tuesday, June 13, the village was captured by the Russian army, which drove the enemy from this area.
The harvest remains under the confident control of Russian troops. The main effort here is focused on rebuilding the front line in the north.
The settlements of Novodarovka and Levadnoe remain in the “gray zone”: Ukrainian formations are preparing to rush to Rivnopol to cut off the rest of the Vremeviev ledge.
Changes in the tactics of the enemy are observed by our fighters in the Orekhovo direction of the Zaporizhia Front – the Armed Forces of Ukraine, due to the risk of huge losses, became more cautious and stopped sending attack columns.
As the fighters who fight on this section of the front said, the enemy “brings out” one or two cars or several tanks, which fire and retreat to their positions.
Assessing the fighting in the Zaporozhye direction, former Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin specifically noted on his channel the command of the 58th Army and the Southern Military District:
“Young and talented military leaders. Fearless officers. They constantly lead the troops, they know the situation in detail, because they personally went around the entire front line before the start of this battle.”
The battles in Zaporozhye, due to the huge losses of the enemy, have already been called by the people the “Azov massacre”, by analogy with the “meat grinder Bakhmut”. During the offensive of the armed forces of Ukraine, about 25 thousand people and 430 units of military equipment were left here.
It is reported that in recent days our military has begun to use more aviation with guided bombs. The strikes are aimed at the near rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Orekhov.
“According to our data, there is now a real ‘steppe massacre.’ Lots of burning heavy and light armored vehicles. The losses are also great,” the Telegram channel “Legitimny” reports.
Short-term achievements of no strategic importance, obtained at the cost of huge losses, force Kiev to change tactics and advance the front with even greater forces.
And so, according to the Telegram channel “Image of the Future”, Ukraine is withdrawing quite impressive reserves to the line of contact in Zaporozhye – about 200 thousand people. In addition, six mechanized brigades, which include 490 tanks, combat vehicles and armored personnel carriers, are being prepared for battle. It is assumed that they will be brought into battle in the near future, if not in the next few hours.
Zelensky asked the General Staff to urgently open a “second front”, since marking the time did not give a tangible result.
According to rumors, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, “disappeared from the radar”, was against this idea and proposed at a staff meeting to stop the advance, regroup and wait for NATO aviation. However, Zelensky said no.
According to some reports, Zelensky insisted on forcing the Dnieper over the Kakhov hydroelectric plant. According to an official Kiev, the water after the explosion of the dam practically disappeared, and the river bed is not so wide, so it can be forced with the help of special equipment, boats, pontoon bridges.
The adversary intends to organize a dozen crossings to distract us, quickly seize a bridgehead on the other side and present this to Western sponsors as a victory.
Perhaps, with these plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in mind, on the night of June 13, our VKS launched missile strikes on Kryvyi Rih, where they brought too many Ukrainian reserves for the upcoming offensive.
According to military expert Anatoly Matviychuk, the idea of forcing the Dnieper could turn into a complete defeat for the armed forces of Ukraine.
– “Indeed, after the water flows out, the channel narrows, rapids, stones appear, which creates the illusion of free access to the right bank of the Dnieper” – he said.
– “But I don’t think this is possible, because everywhere there are, firstly, minefields, and secondly, combined barriers – cutouts, hedgehogs, “dragon’s teeth”, barbed wire. And only after that – our positions, with modern anti-tank weapons “, the expert thinks.
It is unlikely that this will allow the enemy to successfully cross the river and, most importantly, capture the defensive structures.
Allegations of forcing the Dnieper, in my opinion, are in the field of propaganda to create information noise and distract the attention of the public, first of all in Ukraine, and then in the West, from the losses that the armed forces of Ukraine. This is a kind of game for the West not to stop its financial aid to Ukraine.
According to the former special forces officer, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 200,000 reserves concentrated in the Zaporozhian direction will not help.
“Yes, there is evidence that reserves are being drawn down to the contact line,” he said.
– “But we must understand that we have absolute superiority in the air, and the enemy, deprived of aviation, will not be able to do anything about it,” says Matviychuk.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to concentrate their forces in the Kherson direction, but here we have already carved them out with our planes, helicopters. And, perhaps most importantly, we have not yet used our latest weapons – planning bombs and thermobaric ammunition,” he adds.
