/ world today news/ Within the framework of the presidency of the European Energy Community starting in January, Ukraine will insist on the implementation of all agreements within the framework of the European Energy Charter and on resolving the issue of the construction of the South Stream gas pipeline.
This was announced by the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine Eduard Stavitsky, quoted by RIA Novosti.
“We will insist on the implementation of all agreements regarding the Energy Charter, I mean the second and third energy packages. The second issue we will raise is about “South Stream”, since it has not been ratified either at the level of the energy community or at the level of the European Commission, and some member countries have already started its construction”, said Stavitsky at a press conference.
