Danilov said that if a new conflict broke out between Russia and a third party, this would provide quality support to Ukraine trying to fend off the ongoing invasion.
“Georgia could be one of those trying to attack Russia while it is busy in Ukraine,” suggested Danilov, criticizing Tbilisi’s neutral stance.
The Georgian leadership has abstained from imposing anti-Russian sanctions, arguing that such a move would only hurt the country’s own economy.
“Georgia is behaving inappropriately, to put it mildly,” Danilov said, calling on him to try and “get back” his territory.
Danilov appears to be referring to the breakaway republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, which broke away from Georgia in the 1990s and were recognized as independent by Russia after a brief 2008 war.

“But what if Pridnestrovie, and Georgia, and everyone would start to reclaim their territory today?” asked Danilov, referring to the isolated province of Moldova, where Russian peacekeepers have been stationed for decades.
“This will definitely help us, because it will keep them busy with something other than destroying our towns and villages, killing our children and women.”
However, Danilov’s call for waging war was met with a cold reception in Georgia, where many politicians emphatically rejected such an idea.
