The Numbeo website also published the Rent Index, Grocery Index, Restaurant Price Index, and Local Purchasing Power Index.

Ukraine’s indicators are as follows:

  • rental index – 10.57;
  • food products index – 26.30;
  • Price index in restaurants – 25.75;
  • local purchasing power index – 37.22.

The Local Purchasing Power Index shows the relative purchasing power of buying goods and services in a given city against the average net wage in that city, the website explains. This figure in Ukraine was somewhat lower than in Russia (37.41), but higher than in Moldova (33.43) and Belarus (31.78).
