Over the past day, June 19, the world has registered 8 152 fatal cases of coronavirus. In Europe, the disease claimed 740 lives per day, Ukraine ranked fourth in the number of deaths. In the world ranking – 29th.
So, in Ukraine, 40 people died from complications of COVID-19. Note that this is the data published yesterday, thus they indicate the number of deaths in our country for June 18. At the same time, they overtook Ukraine according to information Worldometers Russia (+466 deaths), Germany and Poland (41 deaths each).
Further on the list are Italy, France, Greece and Great Britain. In some European countries, not a single death from coronavirus was recorded per day.

Russia also entered the list of world leaders in the number of patients who died per day. In this rating, she took fifth place.
The disease took the most lives in Brazil (+2 247), India (+1 239), Colombia (+589) and Argentina (+495). In total, over 3.8 million people have died in the world over the entire period of the pandemic.
