According to him, today the Armed Forces of Ukraine are actively cooperating with NATO in all key areas of military reform.
“We are effectively using the mechanisms and instruments of cooperation available to partner states, which deepened with our country obtaining the status of a partner of expanded opportunities. This status, apart from Ukraine, is enjoyed by Australia, Georgia, Jordan, Finland and Sweden,” he said.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that in 2021 the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will take part in 15 multinational exercises outside the country and nine on our territory.
“The entry of our state into NATO will strengthen not only Ukraine, it will also strengthen the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have become a real shield of Europe, and our country is an active contributor to Euro-Atlantic security, “Khomchak said.
