Ukraine attacks Russia’s southwestern region, 1 dead, 3 others injured

Belgorod

Troops Ukraine carry out an attack on the southwest region Russia. As a result of the attack, it was reported that one person was killed and three others injured.

As reported by AFP on Thursday (12/5/2022), the Ukrainian attack on Russian territory was justified by the Governor of the southwestern region of Belgorod, Vyacheslav Gladkov. He confirmed 1 person died while in the ambulance.

“As of now, one person lost his life, he died in an ambulance, and three people have been injured,” Gladkov said via messaging app Telegram.

Not only that, Gladkov said the attack was the “most difficult situation” on his territory since Russian President Vladimir Putin sent troops to Ukraine on February 24. He also accused Ukraine of deliberately targeting the village of Solokhi.

“One house was partially destroyed,” he added.

The announcement of the attack came on the 77th day of Russia’s military campaign in Ukraine, which has killed thousands.

Authorities in the Russian territory bordering Ukraine have repeatedly accused Ukrainian forces of carrying out attacks.

In April, Gladkov said Ukrainian helicopters carried out an attack on a fuel storage facility in Belgorod.
