Ukraine attacks Russia, Putin responds to bombing in New York




Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The conflict between Russia and Ukraine is still going on. Recently, it was reported that Russia launched a massive attack on New York. Not only New York, attacks were also carried out on the nearby concentration area, Toretsk concentration.

Referring to Russian media, RIA Novosti revealed that the Russian army managed to control the region in a fierce war. New York and Torestk are in the Donbass region, which is Ukraine’s main battleground.

New York itself was founded in the 19th century. However, it is not clear where the name came from.

Some media reports attribute it to its original inhabitants, who were German Mennonites. Others claim that a retired Russian officer decided to name his estate after the famous American city.

In 1951, the Soviet government changed the name to Novgorodskoye, which literally means ‘New Town’ in Russian. In 2021, the parliament of Ukraine restored the historical name of New York.

In fact, Russia has been attacking New York since January.

According to a Ukrainian telegram channel run by the military, the Russian Armed Forces have completely taken over New York. The report was also published by the newspaper Strana.
