Ukraine attacked a major Russian explosives factory with drones
Ukraine declared on Sunday that he had attacked a important Russian explosives factorylocated about 750 kilometers from the border, in a night attack with drones.

“Air defenses and electronic warfare means repelled a drone attack on the territory of the industrial zone of Dzerzhinsk“, the regional governor of Nizhny Novgorod said on Telegram, Gleb Nikitin. “Four employees of the fire station, located on the territory of the industrial enterprise, received minor shrapnel wounds”he added.
The United States and the European Union have sanctioned to the Sverdlov plantone of the largest Russian manufacturers of military explosives.
Images posted on Russian social media showed a big explosion in the area and small drones shot down by air defense systems.
kyiv did not say whether the attack had affected the plant’s production capacity.
The Moscow Defense Ministry had previously stated that it had shot down 110 Ukrainian drones that had been fired on its territory during the night, the largest aerial bombardment attempt by Ukraine in two weeks.

Russia also attacked a power facility in the northeastern region of Sumysaid regional energy operator Sumyoblenergo on Telegram, leaving more than 37,000 consumers without electricity.

Russia has destroyed much of its generating capacity and continues to attack energy facilities, at a time when temperatures have dropped to freezing point across the country.
