Security Ukraine on Monday said it had arrested agents Russia. They are known to have plotted to kill the defense minister and the head of military intelligence.
The SBU “arrested the killer of the Russian special services who planned the assassination” Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov and military intelligence boss Kyrylo Budanov, the service said on Telegram.
The arrest was seen in a video. The video shows the armed group subduing and handcuffing two plainclothes men approaching a car.

The arrests took place in Kovel in northwestern Ukraine, with one of the alleged conspirators arriving in the country from Russia via Belarus, the SBU said.
They claimed the men were preparing for the “physical disbandment” of two high-ranking officials and an unnamed “Ukrainian activist”.
