English police said a “Serious incident with firearms” did “ a certain number of victims ”, including dead and injured, late Thursday afternoon in Plymouth, southernEngland.
On Twitter, local MP Johnny Mercer, discussing facts “Serious and tragic”, asserted that these were not considered to be terrorist in nature and that the shooter was “Not on the run”
According to Sky News, the shooter is dead.

The police were called in due to a “Serious incident involving firearms” at the end of the day, local police said in a statement.
Call for calm
Sharron, a female witness, who only agreed to reveal her first name to the BBC, said she heard screams followed by several gunshots.
“The gunman broke down the door of a house and started shooting”, did she say. “He left the house continuing to shoot and continued to shoot people in the street”.
Police and help went there, the police continued, citing “Several dead” as well as several other victims supported by the emergency services.
“The area has been cordoned off and the police believe the situation is under control”, the police continued.
Evoking facts “Shocking” about which she did not provide any clarification, the Minister of the Interior Priti Patel called “Everyone to stay calm, to follow the advice of the police and allow our rescue services to do their job”.
