SILVERSTONE – Qualifying results MotoGP UK 2021 is known, Repsol Honda team rider, Pol Espargaro sure to take pole position. With a record time of 1 minute 58.889 seconds, Pol also won his first pole position as a Honda racer.
At the start of the first qualification which took place on Saturday (28/8/2021), Alex Rins (Suzuki Ecstar) and Johann Zarco (Pramac Ducati) managed to steal the show by recording the fastest time. No other rider was able to pass their record time so that Rins and Zarco advanced to the second qualifier.
Moving on to the second qualification, Fabio Quartararo managed to secure the fastest time at the beginning of the session with a time of 1 minute 59 seconds. While bad luck was felt by Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) because his time record was canceled.

It didn’t take long for Quartararo to be defeated by Pol Espargaro). Then the top position was quickly taken over by Jorge Martin (Pramac Ducati). It’s just that from replays Martin looks cut at the eighth corner when he recorded his fastest time.
After being investigated, it was true that Martin’s time was declared invalid. As a result, Martin lost the opportunity to take pole position at the 2021 British MotoGP.
With the abolition of Martin’s time, Pol who was in second place automatically rose to the fastest time. Until the session ended, no one could beat the Spanish rider’s record time.
That way Pol has the right to start the 2021 British MotoGP race on Sunday 29 August 2021 by being at the forefront of the sequence.
Meanwhile, in the second position is controlled by Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) and in third place is owned by Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha). Jorge Martin, who was in first place, had to settle for fourth.
So what is the fate of Marquez and Valentino Rossi (Petronas Yamaha SRT)? The Baby Alien appeared quite promising and successfully secured the fifth position. While Rossi is in eighth place.
