VIVA – Health authorities English is considering a proposal to ban its use vaccine made in Oxford, AstraZeneca, among young people for fear of an extremely rare case of blood clots, news programs Channel 4 News reported, Monday 5 April 2021.
“Two senior sources told the program that although the data were still unclear, there was a growing argument for the justification of giving younger people, at least under 30 years of age, a different vaccine,” the broadcaster reported.
The UK’s Medicines and Health Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) said on Monday it had not taken any decisions.
