Craig and Karen Mitchell won the big prize of one million British pounds in the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker lottery.
The couple found out about the lottery win when they went on a holiday trip with friends. Karen really liked the hotel blanket. With the big win, she knew her first purchase would be a new down comforter. Exactly the same blanket that was in the accommodation.
She contacted the owners of the accommodation to find out where they had purchased the down comforter.
“It probably wouldn’t be your first purchase as a millionaire, but the perfect blanket is a luxury, I’m very happy and enjoying it,” Karen explained of her decision to purchase the blanket.
After purchasing the quilt, the couple plans to use the winnings to financially support relatives in need. Also, the couple immediately rushed to pay off the mortgage loan at the bank and plans to buy a new car.
Although the couple are now millionaires and have plenty of money, they have decided to continue their careers.
