UK Box Set Sales Charts Remain Unaffected Despite New Game Releases

Last week was a pretty big one for the gaming industry, as several big games were launched or entered early access. With Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Detective Pikachu Returns, and Forza Motorsport debuting in Early Access (and now officially released), there are plenty of games for fans to pick up and play. But how will these new games impact the UK box set sales charts?

As it turns out, it didn’t really make an impact at all. Because EA Sports FC 24 remains the best-selling physical game in the UK for the second week running.

Although Ukie This week’s full Top 40 rankings haven’t been shared yet, but we’re told neither Assassin’s Creed Mirage or Detective Pikachu Returns failed to crack the Top 10 this past week, which is surprising at least for a Pokémon spin-off, as Nintendo games tend to have a sizable physical presence.
