The UK approved the use of the vaccine for Modena’s novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) on the 8th (local time).
According to Reuters, the UK Ministry of Health said that the drug and health care product regulatory agency (MHRA) approved the emergency use of the modder vaccine.
Authorities also said they have agreed to order an additional 10 million doses of modder or vaccine. Accordingly, the UK has secured 17 million doses of modder or vaccines, and the quantity is expected to be supplied from spring.
Modena is the third vaccine licensed for use in the UK. The UK approved the emergency use of the Corona 19 vaccine at Pfizer-Bioentech and AstraZeneca-Oxford University last month, and began vaccination. Bloomberg News quoted a source earlier, and the UK could approve the emergency use of the modder vaccine as early as this day. Modena vaccine has been shown to be about 95% prophylactic in clinical trials.
