In a step forward for educational cooperation between Australia and Colombia, the Victoria Academic Mission and the Colombian Institute of Educational Credit and Technical Studies Abroad, Mariano Ospina Pérez–ICETEX, have selected seven Colombian universities from a total of 25 applications. This initiative, which seeks to promote academic exchange and research collaboration, highlights the commitment of educational institutions in both countries to improve educational quality and generate joint projects.
Among the chosen universities is the Industrial University of Santander (UIS), whose director of foreign relations, Liliana del Pilar Castro, has played a fundamental role in obtaining this recognition for her management. UIS, known for its focus on quality education and strong track record in research, now has the opportunity to expand its horizons through this international collaboration.
The selection of UIS not only reinforces its position in the Colombian educational field, but also opens new doors for its students and the academic community. Mission Victoria will enable the university to establish stronger relationships with Australian institutions, promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience that will benefit all involved.
