[OSEN=박하영 기자] Singer and actor Uhm Jeong-hwa shared her concerns about sluggish concert ticket sales.

On this day, singers Card the Garden and Uhm Jeong-hwa appeared on ‘Fairy Table’, a corner of ‘Fairy Jaehyung’. Jeong Jae-hyung asked Eom Jeong-hwa, who joined late, to promote the concert, and Eom Jeong-hwa said, “That’s right. “I perform,” she said, “I just have to do well. “I’m so nervous,” she said, unable to hide her nervousness.
Above all, Uhm Jung-hwa is holding a solo concert for the first time in 23 years. Regarding this, Jeong Jae-hyung said, “What’s so great about Jeonghwa is that you never know when it will happen again.” He added, “It’s difficult for female singers to perform on stage because there are so many people who are really put in to show off their spectacular side in the performance. “It’s so hard to do anything,” he said.
When Uhm Jeong-hwa sympathized, Jeong Jae-hyung asked, “What kind of guest should I go as?” Uhm Jeong-hwa said, “That day is our New Year. “Because it’s December 31st, you have to take full responsibility for the laughter.” Card the Garden, who had been listening quietly, burst into laughter by saying, “Then I think someone else would be better.”
Meanwhile, Uhm Jeong-hwa said, “But all the tickets haven’t sold out yet. “Actually, in some ways, when I decided to hold a concert, I thought I might go out more than half of the concerts on the opening day, but it was difficult,” she said, expressing her concerns.
Jeong Jae-hyeong said, “It’s not something to be disappointed at all,” adding, “I really need to know a lot to do it all at once after 23 years.” People who play music ask themselves, ‘Am I doing music wrong?’ When I think about this, I feel drained. “I have these useless thoughts, and I need to get rid of them right then,” he began.
He continued, “I thought that the small theater tickets would be sold out all at once the year before last, but that didn’t happen. So, the five years I’ve been performing? It was the first time in 8 years. But what this means is that what I felt at the time was that (people) were not always waiting for the performance. It’s not something we should be so confident about. “I think it’s our responsibility to work harder and promote our performances well, and we shouldn’t be upset when we get older,” he advised.
As Jeong Jae-hyung said, Uhm Jeong-hwa faced reality head on, but her regret did not go away easily. He said, “That very day, after talking to Jaehyeong on the phone, Jaehyeong said, ‘That’s not right. You shouldn’t think like that, you should know. They said, ‘People don’t know.’ So he called Youngcheol at night and called Jaeseok to ask him to appear.”
Jaehyung Jeong said, “I think we take things for granted too much. We should consider it our duty to announce when we are really performing. “I think people only come to see my performances when they accumulate,” he said. He added, “Your range is the best in the world. You just have to make people want to come see your show. I don’t think you should be discouraged. “If it didn’t work out this time, just do it next time,” he cheered.
Cardergarden added, “Because (the size of the concert hall) was large, it seemed like they weren’t going out, but they must have been going out a lot.” Uhm Jung-hwa laughed and said, “You spoke directly to me, which made me think again in many ways.”
Meanwhile, Uhm Jung-hwa plans to perform ‘2023 Uhm Jung-hwa Solo Concert’ in Seoul, Daegu, and Busan starting on the 9th after 24 years.
